Rajeev Batra is an experienced investor, seasoned software executive, and former entrepreneur. He invests in the Cloud/SaaS, Big Data, and Mobile themes. His current investments include AgilOne, C9, Marketo, NewsCred, ServiceMax, SmartRecruiters, Viralheat and WideOrbit.
Rajeev has held various business and technical roles at Siebel Systems, Scopus Technology and Open Environment Corporation (OEC), which pioneered three-tier computing and service oriented architecture. Rajeev was also on the founding team of NetNumina Solutions, an IT consulting firm, which was acquired by Keane.
Prior to joining Mayfield, Rajeev was at American Capital Strategies (NASDAQ: ACAS), Mobius Venture Capital (fka Softbank Venture Capital) and Austin Ventures.
Rajeev received an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a BSEE Honors from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he serves on the Board of Visitors of the A. James Clark School of Engineering.

Bruce Cleveland has been part of InterWest’s IT team since 2006, focusing on investments in the software and services sector with an emphasis on mobile, Cloud Computing and analytical applications.
Prior to joining InterWest, Bruce held senior executive roles in engineering, product management and product marketing with companies such as Apple, AT&T, Oracle and Siebel Systems. Bruce’s last operational role was as a member of the founding executive team of Siebel Systems where he served as SVP, Marketing and SVP, Products. He is credited by Forbes and IDC with creating the most effective alliance program in the software industry.
Bruce attended the United States Military Academy, West Point, and received a B.S. in business administration from CSU, Sacramento.

As the CEO and board member of C9, Michael Howard brings a wealth of leadership experience and a proven track record of leading high growth companies.
Prior to C9, Michael was CMO of Greenplum, now GoPivotal, the Big Data division of EMC. Formerly, he was the CEO of Ingrian Networks (acquired by Safenet), CEO of Outerbay (acquired by HP), VP of the Internet Division at Veritas, and VP of Data Warehousing at Oracle, where he led the acquisitions of Thinking Machines, OneMeaning, and Carleton Corporation. In addition to these roles, Michael has been in the analytics business for over 20 years, served on the boards of Acunu and FireEye, and keynoted at a variety of conferences including EMC World, Oracle Open World, Green Data Center Conference, Data Science Series and many others.
Michael studied Computer Science and Slavic Languages and Literatures at University of California, Berkeley.
Managing Director, Leapfrog Ventures
Pete Sinclair brings decades of senior operating and five years of venture capital experience to the Fund. He has been CEO of and successfully sold companies to Microsoft, Novell, and Adobe Systems, and has participated in two IPOs. He started his career with Hewlett-Packard and joined Apple Computer when it was still a small private company. He has raised money from and worked for some of the top venture capital firms.
Pete has a B.S. in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he completed his studies in 3 years and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He is also a graduate of Stanford Business School’s Executive Program for Small Company Presidents.

Over a 23-year career, Scott Wiener has repeatedly founded successful companies pioneering new technologies including document processing (Ann Arbor Softworks, acquired by Ashton-Tate), collaborative systems (Common Knowledge, acquired by CESoftware), semantic search (Relevance Technologies, acquired by Documentum), and now C9. Combining a strong technical perspective with hands-on operating experience in both venture funded and public technology companies, Scott is the visionary behind C9′s flagship technologies.
Scott is a pragmatic, business-oriented technology leader and has a proven track record of developing innovative and differentiated technologies that provide immediate economic value to customers and strategic value to partners.
Scott has been an advisor to companies such as Apple, Frame, Be, Excite, Tumbleweed, Fabrik, Banter, RedMojo and TimeBridge.
